When I looked at the reviews, I was slightly sceptical as to whether I would enjoy it or not. Once installed, I realised that this was a great game, that would keep me addicted for hours. There is no limit to the possible permutations that you can have on the game. Trying to juggle keeping your customers happy, while making the course challenging enough to attract tournaments is a fine line, and if you cross the wrong side, you soon know about it. It you cross the right side, then you are sitting pretty on top of the world - and you know it. Buy it, you never know, you may just enjoy playing it!

I do enjoy a round or two of golf (on my PC)
So when I heard about Sid Meiers SimGolf
I downloaded the demo immediately!
This game will appeal to a lot of Sim and strategy fans, the name Sid Meier says it all..
Theres plenty of variety and even I could navigate through all the finances, info & statistics (and that says a lot). Theres also enough bad jokes & wise cracks to last a lifetime.
Although the actuall golfing aspect of the game isnt on par (sorry) with the likes of PGA Champ Golf 2000 or Links 2001 it doesnt pretend to be.
Its a much more light harted affair which will ultimmately appeal to a wider public.
The Graphics first off were a bit disapointing, but as the gameplay became more involving the games overall look& feel felt right. SimGolf lets you design your very own coarse (shrubbery and all) & lets you play on it. Cant be bad can it!

When I first played the demo i thought it was a pile of ****, but I was wrong. Once you get going on it and youve finally worked out how to build a course it gets pretty fun. Okay, maybe it doesnt have stunning 3-D graphics and all that, but if you want something to do. Play this. Its darn good fun!
