What can I say?
I bought this book because my putting average had crept up to 2.56. When Id finished reading it, I thought it hasnt actually told me anything that isnt obvious. Three weeks later however, my average has dropped to 2.22, and today I played 1.78. Co-incidence? Maybe, but all the same, Im not telling my playing partners about this book!

Do Not Read this Book
I say "Dont Read This Book" because Id really like to keep it as my own "secret weapon". Its very selfish and I wont be blabbing about it to my friends. But...

... if you want to watch your scores go down, *buy* this book. Right Now.

Applying Bob Rotellas psychology to your putting will help your entire game. I find that I dont worry about my drive or my approach shots anymore - they take care of themselves. I now actually look forward to getting to the green. I just cant wait to go putting!! Ive played a few rounds lately where my partners have stared open mouthed as I drain putt after putt....

Its a good feeling to stand over every putt and think "This is going in" before youve even hit the ball.

Bob Rotella, if you read this, *YOU* are the man. Respect.

The best golf swing book Ive read
I have played golf for a few years and had lessons from several different pros. Although my game was basically OK I always felt that it was hard to find someone who could provide a definitive set of actions and drills that would allow me to build a consistent and technically sound golf swing. I read magazines but often felt that there was too much contradictory information around, with even fundamental ideas changing as trends changed.

This book is excellent because it is not based on opinion, but rather on scientific research. The books demonstrates why it recommends a certain course of action using clear pictures and simple text and provides excellent drills. I found many of the ideas in the book going against what some pros had told me and certainly what many magazines say but having used the drills for a couple of months now I can safely say that they work. My handicap has dropped 5 shots (19 to 14) and I can consistently hit the ball straight. When the ball does not go straight I am now able to easily feel where the swing went wrong and correct it for the next shot.

Many of the drills take a lot of practice, but we all know that to improve in this game you have to practice anyway. I am just gald to know that I can now practice things that will help my game, rather than just ingrain old habits.
